The Trullo’s inside space is 95 square meters.
Each house has a fully equipped kitchen with hob, oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, utensils, pots, pans, dishes etc. Each house has a washing machine.
The Villa’s bedrooms: First bedroom with double bed and ensuite bathroom with extralarge walk-in shower with rain shower and handshower, two sinks and separate wc-room. Second bedroom with double bed. Third bedroom with two double beds. Bedroom 2 and 3 share the second bathroom (bathtub with rainshower and handshower, sink, wc, bidet).
The villa has a generous open-plan kitchen-dining area and gives onto the lounge with sofas and TV.
The Trullo’s bedrooms: First bedroom with double bed. Second bedroom with two large single beds. In case this second room is not needed as a bedroom, it can be converted into a lounge room with comfortable sofas. Bathroom with large walk-in shower with rain shower and hand shower, sink, wc and bidet.
The Trullo has a large open-plan kitchen-dining area, as well as separate tv-corner with sofa.
Each house has its own outside dining area and own outside space.
The organization of events, parties and similar is not permitted on the premises.
The pool is not heated and is open from April through to the end of October.
The Villa has air condition. The Trullo does not as its thick stone walls keep it comfortably cool even in high summer.
Both houses have central heating (underfloor heating in the villa).
Both houses have Wifi.
Houses will be cleaned for your arrival and once a week for guests who stay more than 10 days. Additional cleaning is available at an extra cost.
In case heating is needed (usually only from November up until April), this would be at an extra cost and charged according to consumption. Both houses have gas meters which can be monitored by our guests.
Outside: Both houses have their own outside dining area. The central garden and swimming pool area are shared by the two houses. There is also a large dining table by the pool which is shared. Each house has its own barbecue.
The pool is 10 x 10 mt.
There is a large garden area (between Trullo and house), covered by a lawn and with a variety of fruit trees and some olive trees, some of them several hundreds of years old. There are more fruit and olive trees on the land (the whole plot measures about 1 hectare).
Linens, towels, as well as towels for pool/beach.
Hairdryer, ironing board and iron.
Basic kitchen items: coffee, tea, sugar, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper. Dishwashing liquid, cleaning agent, dishwasher tablets, waste bags, laundry soap, new sponge.
For our youngest guests we provide cots with bedding, highchairs, toys, bottle sterilizers, toilet steps, paddling pools.

About the Trullo
Sleeps 4 / 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom / Pool 10 x 10 mt securely fenced
A truly stunning Trullo conversion, a wonderful escape all year round.
This traditional Trullo was built by an ancestor around 1820. It has been completely restored to the highest standard whilst keeping the original features, such as the floor made of ancient lime stone and the exposed arches. The courtyard and al fresco dining area are paved with the authentic 200-year old stones. Unlike many Trulli it is very light and spacious as we have connected the cones to create an open-plan layout. As a result the large living-dining area and kitchen make up the focal point of the house. With around 100 square meters inside space and two separate bedrooms it comfortably sleeps four people. The Trullo is surrounded by a large garden which also contains the pool area. The central garden and pool area are shared with the other house on the plot (a traditional Trullo which sleeps 4 people). Garden, pool and pool area (with large shaded dining area) are very generously sized, in order to offer enough space to each party, in case both houses are occupied. The property was designed to be completely safe for children, the pool is fence protected.
The large living-dining area welcomes you with one of the two working fire places and a cosy TV-corner. The hand crafted oak table has been built to our design. The kitchen with its extended island unit is fully equipped with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, hob, oven and washing machine.
There are many attractions in the area: Lots of little towns with wonderful historical centers, Unesco heritage sites like Alberobello (just 15 minutes by car) and Matera, Lecce with its amazing baroque, lots of beaches on both coasts, countless typical restaurants for all budgets. Upon arrival you will find your complimentary Welcome Kit with useful information about the area, such as restaurants, places to see, things to do etc. We have spent so much time exploring this enchanting area and love sharing our findings and insight with our guests. It is our absolute priority to make out guests’ vacation here a truly special one. The property is self-catering and accepting our guests’ privacy is paramount. But in case you would like our help with anything at all, we will be more than happy to assist.

About the Villa

Villa Fumarola is a wonderful place all year round which offers lots of things to do for the whole family. Large garden with lawn and 10 x 10 mt-pool with generous surrounding area and dining table. We are confident we can recommend this property to anyone, including families with small children (our own kids grew up here). The property is a tranquil, safe and child-friendly environment, the pool is protected by a fence. The garden has a great variety of fruit and olive trees, some hundreds of years old. The central garden and pool area are shared with the other house on the plot (a traditional Trullo which sleeps 4 people). Garden, pool and pool area (with large shaded dining area) are very generously sized, in order to offer enough space to each party, in case both houses are occupied. The Villa, a recent build, has been designed to interpret the original style of the local architecture without trying to look like an ancient building. This is expressed in the small windows towards the front and the inclined outer walls. It is very spacious and light. All bedrooms have their own access to the garden.
